About

Bio

Rachel Hansen suffers from a severe case of wanderlust, so when she's not writing or thinking about a story, she can be found dreaming about her next travel destination. She has studied in France and spent weeks at a time in Eastern Europe, eating food and trying to figure out how to speak their languages, with a little success. She already thinks she speaks French and Russian. C'est vrai? Никто не знает.

She enjoys soaking up anything that is fantasy or science fiction, whether that be novels, short stories, television or movies. Her favorite books include Dracula by Bram Stoker, The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova (see a theme?), and Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen (Oh, Mr. Darcy).

She is currently unpublished, but her goal in writing is not to be published, but to enjoy it. And so far, she does.

Rachel lives in the great state of Michigan, training to become a crazy cat lady (some would say she has already succeeded) with her polydactyl cat, Freya.
